About Brad and OM Yoga Life
In the heart of every yoga posture and mindful breath, Brad Hoback takes, there's a fusion of his deep passion for yoga and his unwavering commitment to family. Embarking on his yoga journey in the early 2000s, Brad sought solace from the demands of a fast-paced life and found a sanctuary that nurtured his well-being and enriched his family's life.
A seasoned practitioner and certified instructor, Brad delved deep into Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga, seamlessly merging the physical, meditative, and philosophical aspects. His understanding of yoga transcends mere asanas; it's a lifestyle that fosters mindfulness, balance, and inner tranquility. Every lesson Brad imparts reflects this, making him a cherished guide for both novices exploring yoga and experienced yogis looking to intensify their practice.
Being a devoted husband and father has instilled in Brad a unique perspective on wellness. He believes in yoga's power to cultivate harmony within oneself and the home, establishing a foundation of mutual respect, compassion, and love.
Staying updated with the latest in yoga is of utmost importance to Brad. His thirst for knowledge sees him attending regular seminars, workshops, and retreats. OMYogaLife exists as for Brad to provide students insights into yoga's transformative effects on daily living, mental health and its potential for fostering societal change.
When not on the mat or penning down his thoughts, Brad finds joy in nature hikes with his family, meditative retreats, and the continuous exploration of yoga's symbiosis with other wellness modalities.
Brad's mission is beautifully simple and profoundly personal: to guide others in discovering the balance, strength, and peace that yoga offers, intertwined with the joys and challenges of family life. Brad’s Class Schedule
-
5:30 AM Mondays and Fridays
7:00 AM Sunday
This traditional series of postures is a meditative journey enacted in the same order every time. Rooted in Ashtanga, Vinyasa-based practices flourish under the guidance of teachers who craft sequences and control the pace between poses. Purposefully placed vinyasa sequences invoke heat, energy, and a profoundly mindful experience. Holding postures for five breaths permits students to concentrate on alignment, engagement, breath, and the very essence of thought. Ashtanga is a gateway to deeper connections with sensory, emotional, and cognitive experiences and a path toward self-realization. Classes are bracketed with invocations and mantras and thrive on hands-on adjustments.
